A path toward healing, together.
Mind-Body Medicine is an evidence-based, trauma-informed approach to nervous system regulation and trauma intervention that blends self-awareness, breath work, meditation, creative expression, and human to human connection.
A Unique Model for Community Healing.
The unique aspect of this model, developed by The Center for Mind-Body Medicine (cmbm.org), is the focus on human to human connection. This dual focus not only strengths the community as a whole, but enhances the benefits to individual participants. Communities at large benefit from leaders with greater self-awareness, empathetic capacity, and self-regulation to endure hard conversations, make challenging decisions, and tolerate the day-to-day pressures of leadership.
Individual Participant Benefits
Mind-Body Medicine techniques have been proven to:
lower inflammation
manage pain
balance stress
improve sleep
balance immune function
foster peace
build resilience
All of these are critical for long-term health.

Community Education Program
A program is a series (usually consecutive weeks) of workshops covering 8 to 12 techniques. Each session dives into the experience of a new technique as well as the science behind why it works. This immersive two month program gives participants a well developed tool box dismantle stress, cultivate peace, and develop awareness of what changes when we engage with these skills regularly.
We offer these as we are able, and as we sense interest. Join our mailing list to stay up to date. If you are interested and don’t see a program on the calendar, please send an inquiry!
Minimum of 6 people needed.
